Hi, I’m Royce — the photographer behind Royce Did It.

My photography journey started back in high school, where I first took photography classes. But it wasn’t until 2021, after returning to campus post-pandemic, that I really decided to pick up a camera and take it seriously. Coming back, I realized I didn’t have a side hustle like many of my classmates — and I wanted something creative, something that would both support me and help me stand out. What started as a way to make a little extra money quickly grew into a real passion.

As a Mass Communication major at Grambling State University, I already knew the power of visuals — and photography felt like the perfect fit. When I returned to school, I began shadowing Grambling’s official photographer, where I honed my skills and gained real-world experience. Soon after, I launched my photography page and started sharing my work — and it didn’t take long to get noticed. My photos caught the attention of Grambling’s Athletics Department, who hired me as their student photographer for the sports teams. That role gave me the chance to travel, capture unforgettable moments, and build my name across campus.

Since then, I’ve brought my passion for storytelling and my growing skill set back home to Texas, where I continue to work with clients, capture memories, and push myself as both a creator and a professional.
